Nancy Gregory as Elisetta in

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Nancy has performed in operas, song recitals, oratorios, and musicals throughout the state.

A former Brechemin scholarship winner, Nancy earned her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from the University of Washington, where she studied under Metropolitan Opera Soprano Mary Curtis Verna.

The numerous groups Nancy has performed with include the Seattle Chamber Singers, Pacific Northwest Choir, and Evergreen City Ballet.

Nancy's favorite opera roles are Blöndchen in Mozart's Entführung aus dem Serail (Abduction from the Serail), Cleopatra in Handel's Giulio Cesare in Egitto (Julius Caesar in Egypt), and Elisetta in Cimarosa's Il matrimonio segreto (The Secret Marriage). She has performed under the baton of Maestros Peter Erös and Laurent Philippe and worked with Theater and Opera Director Theodore Deacon.

For many years, Nancy was the soloist at Third Church of Christ, Scientist, in Seattle.

Most recently, Nancy sang Schubert's challenging song cycle, Der Hirt am Felsen (Shepherd on the Rock), with Pianist Sally Ramsden and Clarinetist Erling Iverson and performed the soprano solo in Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker with Evergreen Ballet.
